Man arrested at the scene of a 'serious' stabbing in Dun Laoghaire

A 41-year-old male was stabbed and seriously injured during an incident at an apartment at Clarence St, Dun Laoghaire.

A MAN IN his 20s was arrested last night following an attack in south Dublin.

At around 23.30 on 7 June a 41-year-old male was stabbed and seriously injured during an incident in an apartment at Clarence St, Dun Laoghaire.

He was taken by ambulance to St. Vincent’s Hospital, where he is believed to be in a stable condition.

The man in his 20s was arrested by Gardai at the scene and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Dun Laoghaire Garda.

A technical examination of the scene is underway.

The investigation is ongoing.
