Man in hospital after being stabbed on main street

His injuries are described as not life-threatening.

A MAN IS in hospital after being stabbed on a main street yesterday afternoon.

The man, aged 30, received stab wounds outside a pub in Dunshaughlin in Meath yesterday afternoon, shortly before 5pm.

A man was arrested following the stabbing on Drumree Road in the town. The man, who is in his 30s, was taken to Ashbourne Garda Station and will appear in court later today.

The injured man suffered injuries which are described as not life-threatening and was taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown.
