Here's what the Tánaiste is up to in Paris today

Eamon Gilmore is spending three days in France ahead of St Patrick’s Day.

TÁNAISTE EAMON GILMORE is to meet with French president Francois Hollande in Paris this morning for high-level talks on a number of issues.

The two are expected to talk about the economy, and the European elections which are being held at the end of May at the meeting in the Elysée Palace.

Eamon Gilmore is spending three days in the French capital ahead of St Patrick’s Day. The Department of Foreign Affairs said he will be meeting with other members of the French administration during his stay.

He is also due to meet with French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault this morning.

Yesterday he compared notes with his counterpart, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, on what’s happening in Ukraine and the humanitarian crises in Syria, Mali and the Central African Republic.
