Eamon Ryan spoke about his party’s ambitions ahead of the next general election.

THE GREEN PARTY wants “a team” in the Dáil after the next general election and is targeting between four and five seats, according to its leader Eamon Ryan.

The former minister told TheJournal.ie this week that the party, which had its national political presence wiped out in 2011, plans to run a candidate in every constituency with Ryan himself targeting a Dáil seat in Dublin Bay South.

As for what the Greens could do if they do manage a successful electoral comeback, Ryan is keeping all options open:
