This is what €225,000 worth of ecstasy tablets looks like

A man in his 40s has been arrested after a raid in west Dublin yesterday.

GARDAÍ HAVE SEIZED a quantity of drugs with an estimated value of €229,000.

It happened yesterday at a property in the Balgaddy area of Clondalkin at around 8.20pm.

A man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is being held at Ronanstown Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.

The ecstasy seized has a value of €225,000 while the prescription drugs are thought to be worth around €4,000.

The man arrested is in his early 40s.
