Gardaí find €50k worth of ecstasy during Kenneth O'Brien investigation

A search of the Ardclough area of Kildare is currently being carried out.

GARDAÍ MADE AN unexpected seizure of ecstasy earlier today during the investigation into the the death of Kenneth O’Brien.

It is not believed the seizure is related to the murder investigation.

A search of Ardclough in Co Kildare is currently being carried out in connection with the 33-year-old man’s death.

His remains were discovered in the Grand Canal last weekend.

In a statement, gardaí said the drugs were found in a warehouse during a search of the area.

The ecstasy tablets have an estimated street value of €50,000.

No arrests have been made.
