Investigation launched after Eircom worker injured in Dublin fall

The incident happened off Baggot Street on Rogers Lane at around 10.30am.

AN EIRCOM WORKER was injured this morning when he fell while working in Dublin city centre.

The workplace accident happened off Baggot Street on Rogers Lane at around 10.30am.

Gardaí confirmed to TheJournal.ie that they were assisting the Heath and Safety Authority with their inquiry into the man’s fall.

The man was taken to hospital but his current condition is unknown.

Eircom issued the following statement about the incident:

An incident involving an Eircom employee occurred just off Baggot Street on Rogers Lane today.

An investigation has been launched to establish what happened and we will provide further details when we have an update.
