An elderly woman squeezed a man's testicles after he hit her when she was walking her dog

A police spokesperson said “the attacker got more than he bargained for”.

AN ELDERLY WOMAN who was hit by a man in an unprovoked attack managed to stop the assault by squeezing the attacker’s testicles.

It happened in Stoke Orchard near Cheltenham at around 11.30am last Monday.

The woman told police that she was walking her dog along a tarmac track near a small wooded area when a man stomped out of the wooded area shouting ‘get off my land’ and hit her in the mouth.

The attack left the woman with bruising and a small cut.

She then immediately grabbed the man by his testicles, causing him to fall to the ground, before calmly walking away in the opposite direction and not looking back.

Officers are now looking to speak to anyone who witnessed the encounter or has any information about the incident. A police spokesman said:

Clearly this was an unusual method of self-defence and the attacker got more than he bargained for.

“We need information about this incident. It would have been a terrible experience for a person of any age and we would urge anyone who can help to come forward.”
