Here's the lineup so far for Electric Picnic 2015

Who’s going?

FLORENCE AND THE Machine, Underworld, Hot Chip and Manic Street Preachers are among the main acts announced for Electric Picnic 2015.

The War on Drugs, Róisín Murphy, Belle and Sebastian, George Ezra and Jon Hopkins had already been confirmed, with dozens of new acts announced at midday today.

Here’s the full lineup so far:

The announcement was made at the Chocolate Factory in Dublin city centre today, with quite the show laid on for waiting media.

The festival will take place in Stradbally, Co Laois from Friday 4 September to Sunday 6 September.

Tickets for the festival went on sale last year the day after the 2014 event ended, with organisers again offering those who had attended in the past to avail of a loyalty scheme. The scheme offered a €40 discount to those who’d been to three or more Picnics, and a €20 discount to those who’d been once or twice.

An instalment plan is also offered, which gives fans the option to pay for their tickets in three chunks.

A fresh batch of tickets went on sale at 9am this morning (although campervan tickets are already sold out).

So, are you going?
