Weather

According to Met Éireann, there will be sunny spells and showers tomorrow. The showers will be most frequent during the morning, but should be more scattered later.

Met Éireann is predicting mixed weather over the weekend, with some heavy rain at times. Here’s how they put it:

The finer detail is liable to change, so stay tuned to updates. But, at this stage, it looks as if Saturday will be wet for much of the time, with some heavy and locally thundery rain.

Sorry.

Top temperatures will be 16 to 19 degrees.

Sunday looks set to start off dry, bright and fairly sunny.

However, heavy rain is expected during the evening and early night. A clearance is expected to follow later on Sunday night and early on Monday morning.

So, as usual with an Irish festival, pack your rain jacket and some sun cream.

Transport

If you’re driving or taking public or private transport, a list of options on how to get to the festival is here.

Have fun!
