CHRISTMAS IS OVER, we are into a new year and it is time for Irish emigrants to say their farewells after festive time at home with their families.

There were some heartbreaking scenes at Dublin Airport yesterday as families and friends said goodbye to their loved ones again, with the hope they can return soon.
