Three arrested during Wexford drug seizure

Two men and a woman are currently being held at Enniscorthy Garda Station.

TWO MEN AND a woman have been arrested in Wexford after cannabis plants were seized from a house in Enniscorthy yesterday afternoon.

The plants have an estimated street value of about €164,000, according to Gardaí.

The planned search was carried out in a house at Glenbrien in the town as part of an ongoing operation into the cultivation of cannabis in the area. Gardaí were assisted by the Wexford Divisional Drug Unit and the Garda National Drug Unit.

One of the men and the woman arrested are in their forties, while the second man is in his 20s. They were all arrested at the scene and are currently being detained at Enniscorthy Garda Station.
