Police probe report of small explosion outside house in west Belfast

The explosion is said to have happened early this morning on Springfield Road.

THE POLICE SERVICE of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has said that it is investigating a report of a small explosion outside a house in west Belfast this morning.

The explosion is said to have taken place on Springfield Road at around 8.45am.

Police say there are no reports of any injuries and that there are no further details at this stage.
