It just got easier to get home from the Christmas party

Extra Buses and DART services to help commuters out at busy time of the year.

LET THE CHRISTMAS madness begin!

Public transport is getting all revved up for the festive period with DART services running, wait for it….after midnight.

Don’t go too crazy though, it’s just for the weekends in the run up to Christmas.

The decision to run the late night services was made after an online survey showed strong support for the extra DART.

So from Friday the 13th, Saturday the 14th and the following Thursday, Friday and Saturday you can get the late DART as follows;

  • 12.30am from Pearse serving all stations to Howth.
  • 12.35am from Pearse serving all stations to Malahide.
  • 12.30am from Connolly serving all stations to Bray.

Cork is also offering similar services with a late night bus on the weekends in the run-up to Christmas from Cork city to Carrigaline, Ballincollig and Midleton.

The services will operate from Cork city centre on the 13th, 14th, 20th and 21st.

Buses on each service will depart from St. Patrick’s Street at 1am, 2am and 3am
