Man in his 20s dies in single-vehicle crash in Louth

A second male in his late teens was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A MAN IN his 20s has died in a single-vehicle collision in Co Louth.

The incident happened at Cartown, Termonfeckin, at 10.30pm yesterday.

The man who died was driving the car.

A second male in his late teens, who was a passenger in the car, was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda with minor injuries.

Gardaí are investigating the incident. The road at the scene remains closed pending a forensic collision examination.
