Man in his 20s dies in overnight crash in Tipperary

The man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at Lower Ballylynch in Carrick-on-Suir.

A MAN IN his early 20s has died in a single vehicle crash in Tipperary overnight.

The collision happened at Lower Ballylynch in Carrick-on-Suir at around 2.50am. The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was brought to South Tipperary General Hospital.

Diversions are in place in the area as investigators carry out a forensic examination of the area.

Gardaí have asked anyone with any information about the crash to contact Clonmel Garda station on 052 6177640, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
