Ferrari reveals its newest 'practical supercar'

With more luggage space than a Nissan Qashqai!

AHEAD OF THE Paris Motor Show, Ferrari has pulled the covers off its latest model – the GTC4 Lusso T.

Earlier this year the Italian supercar maker released the GTC4 Lusso as its replacement for the FF.

Now it has replaced that car’s V12 engine with the turbocharged V8 from the 488 GTB, hence the new ’T’ designation.

This 3.9-litre V8 produces 610hp and a whopping 760Nm of torque, all of which goes to the rear wheels via a seven-speed automatic transmission.

Adding to the car’s agility is 4WS, a rear-wheel steering system, which along with the Side Slip Control (SSC3) increases steering response when entering and exiting corners.

Ferrari reckons the GTC4 Lusso T is one of the most practical supercars on the market today. With a 450-litre boot capacity it has more luggage space than a Nissan Qashqai and unlike some 2+2 sports cars, the rear seats are quite usable. The dashboard also includes a 10.25-inch HD touchscreen as part of the infotainment system.

Despite the large boot and extra seats the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso T remains a blisteringly fast car, capable of reaching 100km/h from rest in just 3.5 seconds and a top speed of more than 320km/h.
