Fine Gael ahead, but margin narrows on rolling Boards.ie poll

Fine Gael come out ahead after almost 4,000 votes cast in poll since yesterday, but Labour is not far behind and Independents come in third.

A NEW ROLLING POLL hosted by Boards.ie shows Fine Gael ahead at 32.7%, but puts second-placed Labour at 28%.

At the time of writing, 3,860 votes had been cast since yesterday by Boards.ie members.

Each person gets one vote, but can vote in any constituency and can change their mind later and re-cast their single vote. The results can be viewed by constituency or nationally.

This morning, Independents are in third place nationally at 13.1%, Sinn Féin is at 11.9%, Fianna Fáil has 7.1% and the Green Party is on 3.4%. The Socialist Party received 1.9% of votes and People Before Profit 1.4%.

The Workers’ Party and the Workers and Unemployed Action Group are tied last on 0.2%.

The poll is currently based on first preference votes, but when it receives a sufficient number of votes, results will be generated by using the Single Transferable Vote system.
