‘All clear’ given following blaze near Broadstone Bus Depot

Dublin City Council’s ‘Dangerous Buildings Unit’ are due to inspect the building.

A FIRE AT a building outside the Broadstone Bus Depot in the Phibsboro area of Dublin has been extinguished.

Two units of Dublin Fire Brigade were called to the scene after the fire was reported at the derelict building this morning.

A spokesperson for the fire service said the incident was wrapped up inside an hour, and that the ‘all clear’ had been given before 10am.

A team from Dublin City Council’s ‘Dangerous Buildings Unit’ will now carry out an inspection

Gardaí said there had been no reports of any injuries as a result of the blaze.

A spokesperson for Bus Éireann said the fire was not on the grounds of the depot, and that no services were being affected by the incident.
