Two people rescued after fire engulfs kitchen

The two were treated for smoke inhalation.

DUBLIN FIRE BRIGADE crews rescued two people from a house fire today.

The crews were called to the house in Clongriffin this afternoon after a fire engulfed the kitchen.

Two people were found trapped inside and were removed from the blaze. The two were taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.

Homeowners were urged to check their smoke alarms in the wake of the fire.
