STAFF WERE EVACUATED this evening from the Nautilus restaurant in Malahide after a fire broke out.

At least six units of Dublin Fire Brigade were sent to the blaze on Strand Street which started just after 8pm.

A garda spokesperson said those who were in the building at the time were evacuated and no injuries have been reported.

However images from the scene show some roof damage has been caused by the fire. The extent of the damage inside the restaurant is unclear.
