Two women were among the dead, the South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue service said.

FIVE PEOPLE HAVE died in a house fire in Sheffield.

The South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue service said that the people who died are believed to be two women and three young children.

A 999 call was received at around 12.15am this morning. The house is located in a residential area on Wake Road.
