Five people assaulted in Down

Two men have been arrested in relation to the incident.

POLICE IN NORTHERN Ireland are appealing for information about an assault which occurred in the early hours of this morning in Down.

PSNI officers believe that up to five people were assaulted by two men at the Ballynoe Road at about 1.10am.

A 33-year-old man and 32-year-old man have been arrested in relation to the incident. Both men are currently helping police with their enquiries.
