Five-year-old girl dies in Roscommon house fire

Two other young children escaped from the house after a fire was discovered early this morning.

A FIVE-YEAR-OLD girl has died following a house fire at Termon Road, Boyle, in Co Roscommon this morning.

The fire was discovered between 2.30am and 3am today.

A man in his 40s and two young children, aged three and four, escaped from the house and have been taken to Sligo General Hospital.

The scene has been sealed off for a garda technical examination.
