Watch: This video will make you wish FlightFest happened every weekend

Dylan Murphy put together this footage of the airshow yesterday, which saw dozens of planes fly low over Dublin.

IF YOU WERE in Dublin city centre yesterday, it would have been hard to miss the jets, Air Corps flying formations, and massive passenger planes flying down the banks of the Liffey.

If you somehow didn’t spot them, you missed FlightFest, the largest air show to take place over Dublin since 1936.

We shared some of the images you sent us of the event, and we’ll have even more later this evening, but if they weren’t enough, Dylan Murphy has put together this slow motion HD video of the airshow, complete with some very dramatic orchestral strings.

Have you photos of FlightFest you’d like to share with us? Send them to pictures@thejournal.ie.
