Man arrested after texting head of local drug unit ... looking for drugs

When texting goes wrong.

A FLORIDA MAN was arrested for drug charges after accidentally texting the police captain of the local drug unit looking for drugs.

William Lamberson (29) thought he was texting a drug dealer but somehow sent his message to the police officer.

The dialogue continued and the two set up a later meeting.

Lamberson thought he was going to sell cocaine when he was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell.
