FOOD SHOPPING CAN be a pain.

Especially if you’ve just left home for the first time.

Every September a raft of people leave home and have to learn how to do the Big Shop. But the rest of us could do with a refresher, too.

How do you know what to pick up and what to put down?

We asked personal trainer Dean Kelly of ProPT Studios to take us around the supermarket and tell us what should and shouldn’t be part of your big shop.

Dean also gave us a recipe for a healthy, cheap dinner, telling us that healthy eating could be cheap and tasty.
