Four arrests and €840k worth of cannabis seized in Dublin

Cannabis plants and herbal cannabis was seized at an industrial unit in Ballyboughal last night.

FOUR MEN HAVE been arrested and cannabis with a combined street value of €840,000 has been seized in Dublin.

Local Garda drug units and the national drugs unit carried out a search of an industrial unit near Ballyboughal in Co Dublin last night at around 7.30pm.

Approximately 1500 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €600,000 and freshly harvested herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €240,000 was seized.

Four men – one aged in his 20s, two in their 30s, and one in their 40s – were arrested in the operation.

They are currently being detained under section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act at Raheny and Santry Garda stations.
