19-year-old seriously injured after falling from balcony in Galway

He was taken to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.

A STUDENT HAS been left with severe injuries after falling from a balcony in Galway.

The accident occurred at the Dun na Coiribe apartment complex on the Headford Road shortly before midnight last night.

The apartments are popular among NUI Galway students.

He was taken to University Hospital Galway having suffered what are described as “severe” injuries.

From there, he was taken to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.

Gardaí say there is no suggestion that there is anything suspicious about the fall.
