Garda's wrist broken in Dublin assault

Two men are due in court this morning in connection with this incident.

TWO GARDAÍ HAVE been injured in an assault in Dublin.

The incident occurred at 1.50am this morning at Aylward Green in Finglas. A male sergeant and female garda approached a number of men and one of them assaulted the two officers.

The sergeant received facial injuries and the garda suffered a fractured wrist.

Two men in their 20s have been arrested and are due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning.
