Garda treated for leg injuries after motorcycle rammed in Dublin

Two males were arrested and are being detained at Kevin Street Garda Station.

A MEMBER OF An Garda Síochána was injured in Dublin today when his official motorcycle was rammed by a car.

The incident happened on Lennox Street in the city centre at about 2pm. A garda spokesperson said the garda sustained leg injuries when his bike was involved in a collision with a car.

He was taken to St James’ Hospital for treatment and his injuries are not life-threatening.

Two males, one in his 30s and the other in his late teens, were arrested in connection with the incident and are being detained at Kevin Street Garda Station.
