Two gardaí arrested over suspected fraud

The two men are in their 30s and understood to be gardaí.

TWO MEN ARRESTED over suspected fraud in the Dublin area today are believed to be members of An Garda Siochána.

Gardaí investigating suspected fraudulent activity in the Dublin area arrested two males this morning.

The arrests were as part of an investigation by the Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation into alleged fraudulent activity. The two males, who are in their 30s, were arrested this morning in the Dublin area.

They are both currently being detained at Leixlip Garda Stations under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

It is understood the two men are gardaí.
