Two men arrested after gardaí seize €100k worth of cannabis

Gardaí made the discovery during a raid on a house in Ballinasloe.

TWO MEN HAVE been arrested after 120 cannabis plants were seized in Galway.

Gardaí made the discovery during a raid on a house yesterday at Kilgarve Court in Ballinasloe, where a quantity of harvested cannabis was also discovered.

The drugs have an estimated street value of €100,000.

The men, both in their 30s, are currently being detained at Ballinasloe and Loughrea Garda Stations, and can be held for up to seven days.
