Gardaí issue fresh appeal for witnesses to fatal Dublin crash

One motorcyclist died in the collision which took place on Hartstown Road on 22 October

GARDAÍ IN BLANCHARDSTOWN have renewed their appeal for witnesses following a fatal crash that took place on Hartstown Road in Dublin on Saturday 22 October.

A motorcyclist in his 20s died later in Connolly Hospital, while a second motorcyclist in his early 20s was uninjured.

The man was the 16th motorcyclist to die on Irish roads this year.

Gardaí are said to particularly interested in speaking to a male, believed to have been driving a jeep directly behind the motorcycles, who performed CPR on the injured man at the scene.
