Gardaí in Cork investigating Christmas Day deaths

Two men died yesterday at a house on Rockgrove Terrace in Cork city.

GARDAÍ IN WATERCOURSE Road are investigating the deaths of two men at a Cork city house on Christmas Day.

A 33-year-old man was pronounced dead at a house in Rockgrove Terrace at 1pm yesterday afternoon. His body was removed to Cork University Hospital where a post mortem will be carried out.

A second man, aged 32, was taken from Rockgrove Terrace to Mercy Hospital at 8pm in a critical condition. He passed away in the early hours of this morning.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have attended a gathering at the house on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day to come forward with any information. They have also been asked to seek medical attention.

Witnesses are asked to contact Watercourse Road Garda Station on 021 455 8260.
