Gardaí launch investigation after death of woman in Dublin

A 37-year-old woman has died after being discovered injured at a residence in Dublin city centre this morning.

GARDAÍ HAVE LAUNCHED an investigation following the death of a woman in Dublin today.

At about 11 am this morning, Gardaí from Mountjoy Garda Station attended a residence at Upper Sherrard Street, Dublin 1, after receiving reports concerning a woman with injuries at the location.

The woman, 37, was brought to the Mater Hospital where she later passed away.

Gardaí say they are awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination to establish the cause of the woman’s death, and have added that all circumstances surrounding her death are being investigated.

There have been no arrests made in connection with the incident.
