Gardaí issue separate appeals for two missing teenagers

Fifteen-year-old Darren Sherlock was last seen on the morning of 28 November, while Caolan Mulrooney, 18, was seen in Cork city in the early hours of this morning.

GARDAÍ HAVE ISSUED two public appeals for help in locating missing teenagers in Cork city and in Dublin.

In Dublin, gardaí are appealing for the public’s assistance in locating missing 15-year-old Darren Sherlock from Santry.

Sherlock was last seen at around 9am on Monday, 28 November in Santry.

He is described as being 5′ 3” in height, of thin build and has brown hair and blue eyes. He also wears glasses and was wearing a navy school jumper and grey trousers when last seen.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have seen the teenager, or who has information about his whereabouts, to contact them on 01 666 4000, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or via any garda station.

Cork

Meanwhile, gardaí in Cork are calling for information on the whereabouts of Caolan Mulrooney, 18, who was last seen at around 1am today. He was walking over South Gate Bridge and towards French’s Quay at the time.

He is described as being of athletic build, is 6′ in height and has brown hair. When last seen, Mulrooney was wearing a blue and white striped shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone who may have seen him or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Anglesea Street Garda Station on 021 452 2000, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
