Gérard Depardieu relieves himself on flight headed for Dublin

The French actor was refused use of the toilet on board so took matters in to his own hands…

FRENCH ACTOR GÉRARD Depardieu urinated in front of fellow passengers on a flight heading to Dublin last night, it is being reported.

Cabin crew are reported to have refused to allow the 62-year-old to use the bathroom on the delayed flight AF5010 from Paris to Dublin despite desperate calls from the actor to be allowed use the toilet, the Australian Daily Telegraph reports.

A fellow passenger speaking to French radio station Europe 1 is quoted as saying the actor shouted: “Je veux pisser, je veux pisser.”

She went on to say that after being told to wait until the plane was in flight, Depardieu proceeded to unzip his trousers and urinate on the carpet of the cabin.

The witness, known only as ‘Daniele’ added that 127 passengers on board the Air France jet were left reeling by the antics of Depardieu.

“I will only confirm that he, in effect, urinated in the plane,” a spokeswoman for the Air France-KLM subsidiary CityJet told the Times of Malta.

However the airline has just tweeted that: “We are busy mopping the floor of one of our planes this morning…” adding in a follow up tweet:

We’d also like to remind all passengers that our planes are fully equipped with toilet facilities…

It’s not known whether the airline intends to take further action against the star of French and Hollywood cinema who has appeared in almost 200 films including the hit romantic comedy Green Card.

Depardieu’s agent could not immediately be reached for comment.
