Baby girl in critical condition after two-car collision in Clare

The crash happened at around 5.10pm yesterday afternoon.

A YOUNG CHILD was in critical condition last night following a two-car collision in Clare.

The crash happened at around 5.10pm yesterday afternoon on the N68 at Lissycasey.

Gardaí said the baby and her father were brought to Limerick Regional Hospital with serious injuries.

The child is thought to be only three months old.

Two other occupants of the car did not require hospitalisation.

The road reopened this morning after being closed overnight.
