Over to you: Have you ever been bullied?

We want to hear your story.

BULLYING HAS BEEN in the headlines in Ireland over the past number of weeks as a number of tragic incidents have been brought to the public’s attention.

The tragic deaths of Erin Gallagher in Donegal and Leitrim teenager Ciara Pugsley, after allegations they were being bullied on the ask.fm website, show how bullying is changing. Last night David Coleman’s RTE documentary Bullyproof highlighted the issue of children being bullied in Irish schools today.

In light of all these discussions about bullying, we want to hear your experiences for an article to be published on TheJournal.ie.

If you are…

  • a victim of bullying, now or in the past
  • a parent of a bullying victim
  • a teacher
  • someone who has bullied others
  • a parent of someone who has bullied others

… then we want to hear from you. Please email your experience, approximately 200 words, to christinafinn@thejournal.ie by noon Friday 2 November. A selection of responses will be published in an article.

All emails will be treated with the utmost confidence and no names will be used unless permission is given.
