Here's how much rain is falling over Ireland this morning

Dry for some but wet for others…

THIS IMAGE FROM Met Éireann’s rainfall radar at 7am this morning shows the level of rainfall over Ireland right now.

While it looks relatively dry over the North, West and Midlands, it’s pretty sodden along the East, ‘sunny’ Southeast and West.

Today, Met Éireann is forecasting rain over many parts of Leinster and Munster with the heaviest of this coming over the Southeast and South with possible thunder showers forecast.

It will ease this afternoon and remain dry in Ulster and Connacht for much of the day. Those Northeast winds will moderate slowly later today.

So unless you’re in Ulster and Connacht, get the brolly out this morning.
