Hero cat saves four-year-old from savage dog

Maybe cats don’t hate humans after all.

THE PERCEPTION THAT cats have no loyalty was knocked on its head today by an heroic cat named Tara.

The super moggy came to the rescue of her owners son Jeremy Triantafilo when a neighbourhood dog attacked him.

Erika Triantafilo, Jeremy’s mother, was nearby watering a tree when she heard his screams, she told her local TV station.

The incident was captured on CCTV. Thankfully, Jeremy’s father says, he is fine, but he did require 10 stitches.

“I didn’t really even realise what had happened until after when my husband showed me the surveillance video,” Erika said.

The family say that Tara loves to be petted and comes when she is called.
