Heroin worth €1 million seized in car search

Two men were arrested as part of the operation targeting organised crime.

TWO MEN WERE arrested after €1 million worth of heroin was seized when a car was stopped and searched in Dublin yesterday.

Gardaí say the search was part of an intelligence led operation targeting an organised crime group operating in the Ballyfermot area of the city.

The two men, aged 20 and 45, are being held at Kevin Street and Irishtown Garda stations in Dublin.
