Heroin worth more than €100k seized in Dublin

Gardaí seized two batches of the drug in Dublin’s south inner city yesterday.

HEROIN WORTH ABOUT €112,000 was seized in Dublin yesterday.

Gardaí arrested two men in their late-teens following the discovery of heroin in a car on the South Circular Road on Tuesday afternoon. The search was part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of drugs in Dublin’s south inner city.

A further quantity of heroin was found in a house during follow-up searches yesterday evening.

Both suspects are being held at Kevin Street garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
