Updated: 21:05

A CURFEW CONTINUES to be imposed on those who remain in New Orleans, as Isaac has been downgraded to a tropical storm.

Sky News have reported that the mayor of New Orleans, Mitch Landrieu, has imposed a ‘dawn-to-dusk curfew’, which currently has no end date.

Coming seven years after Hurricane Katrina decimated the city, the order was made to those who haven’t already evacuated.

The current progress of the tropical storm can be viewed on this Google Crisis Map.
