HERE IS A series of radar images that look like someone is pulling a duvet across the whole of Ireland.

The rainfall radar on Met Éireann has been recording an increasingly alarming picture of the advance of heavy rain across Ireland. Flick through the slideshow and pull on the raingear as it reaches your part of the country.
