Hurrah!

WARM AND DRY weather is being forecast for much of the rest of this week as Dubliners enjoyed the sun in the capital today as did others around the country.

The warm weather is a welcome relief after April was officially the wettest in 14 years. Met Éireann says we can expect similar conditions to today for the rest of the week.

Be warned, there will be some patchy drizzle and light rain over the west tonight but this will all clear for a dry day tomorrow with temperatures in some places going as high as 20 degrees.

Balmy.
