PHOTOGRAPHS CONTINUE TO emerge showing the scale of the rioting and violence across England last night.

Nottingham, Gloucester, Central Manchester, Salford, and Liverpool all experienced rioting, looting or violence.

Videos filmed by witnesses caught up in the violence are also appearing on YouTube and TwitVid.

Meanwhile, the Metropolitan Police have said that it is “simply wrong to suggest officers were initially told not to actively arrest those involved in disorder.”

In this video of what the owner says is looting in Manchester on Oldham Street, a group of people appear to break into a business before walking off with a flatscreen television:

A video has also been put up on Twitter that appears to show a group of young men in Enfield being pursued by police while shouting “England! England!”
