Murder investigation underway after teenager dies in Dublin

Nineteen-year-old man found with serious injuries at a Dublin car park last night died later from his injuries.

A TEENAGER HAS DIED IN DUBLIN after he was found with serious injuries outside an apartment complex in Inchicore.

The 19-year-old man was found in the car park at Emmet Court at around 10.30pm yesterday and was taken to St James’ Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly before midnight.

A post-mortem is due to be carried out later today, but gardaí say they are now treating the death as murder.

Gardaí have sealed the area off for a technical examination and are appealing to anyone who may have any information regarding the incident to contact them on 01 666 7300 or on the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
