Here's how the commemorative stamp for Ireland's EU presidency looks

IT’S THE MOMENT philatelists have been waiting for (possibly).

An Post has issued a commemorative stamp to mark Ireland’s presidency of the Council of the European Union. Designed by Irish illustrator Steve Simpson, the stamp is based on the official Presidency logo which was chosen by the public in an online poll.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore were presented with the special 55c stamp by the head of An Post Donal Connell at Government Buildings.
